My name is Ron. I am an over 30, out of shape, former runner who is determined to change my circumstance and get my health back. I am been interested in health and fitness my entire life, but lost my way in college. I am fed up with living a standard life and giving in to the ‘inevitable’ fate of being overweight and having health issues as I age. I am using this blog as a chronicle of my journey back to fitness. I explain it more eloquently in my Introduction post, but I am determined to run one mile in under 5 minutes. This, of course, is not my only objective, but it’s been a lifelong goal of mine that that is going to take a lot of work and dedication. Ultimately, all of this will help to make me a better, healthier person. I’m just an average guy trying to do un-average things.
